Theresa Ranciato-Viele of Site Development Construction Services of Branford wins 10th annual award
The Quinnipiac Chamber of Commerce awarded the 10th Annual Athena Award to Theresa Ranciato-Viele, manager of Site Development Construction Services of Branford, was named the 10th Annual Athena Award recipient. Ms. Ranciato-Viele exemplifies excellence in business, has outstanding leadership skills, and has excellent rapport with staff and the community. She was nominated by Maria Carofano, Nick Casella, Mary Jane Mulligan, Sandy Carter, William Brown and Atty. James Giulietti.
In addition to Ranciato-Viele, three other area women were nominated and received recognition at our annual luncheon: Rosalind Gallagher, Travel Agent/Real Estate Agent at Gallagher Travel/Pilgrim Realty, nominated by Craig Fishbein; Kate Kelley, vocational program director at REM Connecticut Community Services, nominated by Sue McDonnell; and Christine Mansfield, owner of Discovery Training Services, nominated by Martin Mansfield and Andy Candido.
The Athena Award luncheon was held Oct. 23, at the Chevrolet Theater in Wallingford. The very inspirational Peyton R. Patterson, chairman and CEO of New Alliance Bank was the Guest Speaker.
The Quinnipiac Chamber of Commerce represents 750 plus businesses and 26,000 employees in the Wallingford and North Haven area.
